It was with great pleasure that I sent What’s an Earl Gotta Do? off to my copy editor the other day! It will be released on December 3rd, 2021, and is now available for pre-order at retailers everywhere.

I’m also pleased to announce that Book 3 in The Astley Chronicles, The Sea Siren of Broadwater Bottom, is coming along nicely and should be available in Spring 2022! Watch this space, and my social media, for a cover reveal during the month of November.

Would you like to see some of the images that inspired me while I was writing How to Train Your Viscount? Be sure to check out my Pinterest page! You’ll find the faces I pictured for Caro and Henry, as well as pictures of Thomas Hope’s famous Duchess Street mansion, Regency fashion, scenery, and some of the ancient Egyptian artifacts that inspired me.

Do you agree with my choices for Caro and Henry? Email me at and let me know!

I just received word that How to Train Your Viscount won first place in the Historical Romance category of the Pages from the Heart contest! And even better, I received such thoughtful feedback (some of which I have already incorporated) from the judges at every level of the contest. If you’re an aspiring writer, I do recommend entering your work in contests like this one. I’ve gotten some really great feedback over the years, and I know my writing has improved as a result.
